What are the 3 rules of magnets?
The three rules of magnets are:
- Opposites attract: The north pole of one magnet will be attracted to the south pole of another magnet.
- Likes repel: The north pole of one magnet will repel the north pole of another magnet and the south pole of one magnet will repel the south pole of another magnet.
- A magnet has both a north pole and a south pole. Every magnet has at least one north pole and one south pole, and they are opposite to each other. It's not possible to have a magnet with only one pole.
